Edition/Basel 2019 Session 2

Artists working in intaglio, relief, lithography and letterpress techniques participated at the Druckwerk Printmaking Studio in central Basel, Switzerland, from July 17 to July 28, 2019, concluding with an exhibition at the Atelier Mondial. Strata was the theme, chosen collaboratively and interpreted individually by participants during their time in the workshop. 

The participating artists were Annick Bosson, Brendhan Dickerson, Elizabeth D‘Agostino, Jessica Spring, Jonathan McFadden, Katharina Rüegg, Lian Ng, Marcela Ávila Vivero, Margarit Lehmann, Mark Johnsen, Megan Adie, Mika Aono, Sabina Stucky, Sibylle Winkelmann and Tomasz Winiarski. Brendhan Dickerson, guest artist, who works in the field of sculpture and performance, explored the same theme and title as the group of printmakers. He created his own work parallel to the printmaking artists.
