Edition/Basel 2020 Session 2:
PASSAGES TO MANYWHERE
This 'process' document combines photos and videos from the on-site and remote artists participating in Edition/Basel Session 2, July 29 – August 9 2020. When the pandemic hit, we knew we had to do something to keep the residency going. Our solution was to make a hybrid project, and see how we could work together over great distances. Our group of innovative artists came up with an exhibition full of incredibly inventive and experimental pieces. This video documents the process.
Participating artists: Christina Simon, Enrique Leal, Hanna Sass, Helen Eggenschwiler, Helga Halbritter, Jonas Studer, Kamilė Jadevičiūtė, Kate Collyer, Katharina Rüegg, Lenore Thomas, Lisa Chappell, Lucinda Tanner and Sofie Musoyan. Curated by Margarit Lehmann and Megan Adie. Video by Megan Adie.
